Film Photography Complete Class
The perfect course to begin your exploration of ananlog film photography using black and white film. The course is three sessions on a weekend starting Friday evening.
Bring your own camera or rent one of ours. This course will cover:
Camera operation
Metering and exposure
Developing film in the darkroom
Making prints in the darkroom.
Friday May 26th 6-9pm
Lecture on camera operation, loading film.
Instruction on metering and exposure.
Walk around Alpine shooting pictures.
Saturday May 27th 10am – 4pm
1. Lecture on film and developing. Walk around and finish rolls if needed.
2. Darkroom session to develop a roll of film.
3. While the film dries – discussion on making prints.
4. Making contact prints. Students will be encouraged to spend time selecting 2 frames for printing session Sunday.
Sunday May 28th 10am – 4pm
Students will make prints from the roll of film they shot and developed.
Course fee is $150.00 and includes materials and darkroom time. Camera rental is $60.00.

Individual darkroom instruction is also available.
